Meet Dr Kirthi Kosalram, Specialist Prosthodontist
Collins Street Dental welcomes Dr Kirthi Kosalram, a registered specialist prosthodontist, to our team. She graduated as a dentist in 2000 and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the University of Sydney. Dr Kirthi has experience working in both private and public practice and has contributed to dental education as a lecturer in Prosthodontics at the Universities of Melbourne and Sydney.
Qualifications & Professional Memberships
Dr Kirthi is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Prosthodontics). She is also a member of the International College of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), where she serves as a Victorian ITI Education Delegate.
Areas of Focus
As a specialist prosthodontist, Dr Kirthi works in the restoration and replacement of teeth, including treatment planning for crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations. She manages complex restorative cases such as rebuilding worn or damaged bites and full-mouth rehabilitation. She also provides second opinions for patients where previous dental treatment has not achieved the desired outcome and develops comprehensive, individualised treatment plans.
Dr Kirthi provides comprehensive assessments for patients seeking clarity on their diagnosis or treatment options, including concerns such as loose crowns or bridges, damaged or missing veneers, mismatched restorations, and implant-related issues. Her approach focuses on restoring function and supporting long-term oral health based on each patient’s individual needs.
