Dr Jon Sprague, Dentist
Restorative, Cosmetic Dentistry and Digital Smile Design Provider
Dr Jon Sprague graduated from the dental school at the University of Melbourne in 1993. After an intern year at the Royal Dental Hospital and the Goulburn Valley Base Hospital, he commenced work in private practice. He already had a keen interest in implant dentistry and orthodontics and started taking further studies in both these fields.
After five years in private practice, he flew off to London to work and discover Europe. What was to be a two-year stint became twelve. He worked at a leading cosmetic private practice that really enabled him to hone his skills. He also underwent surgical implant training, Invisalign training, and was mentored in his first full mouth rehabilitation (smile makeover) cases.
Training and Experience
Dr Sprague has been practicing orthodontics all of his practising career and Invisalign since 2005, when it was still in its infancy, both of which he uses to augment his restorative and cosmetic dentistry, which is another of his passions. He is trained in Digital Smile Design.
Dr Sprague’s steady calm nature makes him a natural at helping people suffering from phobias and anxiety. Even the most nervous patients usually leave with a smile, and they surprise themselves with what they can achieve.

Outside of Office
When Dr Sprague is not at work, you might find him at the gym, as he loves keeping fit or riding his hybrid bike. He loves to travel around the world and favourite spots include South America and Europe. At home he has two little cheeky fur babies, Felix and Leila, who are both Lakeland Terriers (Terrors!). Dr Sprague likes to read and meditates every morning before coming to work.
